Newburgh’s Catherine Grad Celebrates 25 Years With Law Firm

Newburgh, NY – Andrew G. Finkelstein, managing partner of Finkelstein & Partners, one of New York State’s largest personal injury law firms, is proud to recognize Catherine Grad, for 25 years of service with the firm.

Grad, a Case Assistant, a position she has held for the past 10 years, works closely with physicians’ offices to compile Medical reports on the condition and recovery progress of the firm’s injured clients. When she began with Finkelstein & Partners 25 years ago, she worked as a Legal Assistant. At that time, her responsibilities included typing reports – on a typewriter — and working with hard copy paper files.

“When Catherine started 25 years ago, it seemed like there were paper case files everywhere,” said Finkelstein.

“Today our offices are nearly paperless and the bulk of the administrative work is done on computers and all employees, and even clients, have access to our secure online case management program.”

“Like the technology we use today, Catherine has advanced from her early days with the firm and plays an important role in ensuring that we have complete and accurate records from physician offices so that we can work to maximize the outcomes for our clients,” added Finkelstein. “I’m very proud of the work Catherine does, and on behalf of all Finkelstein & Partner employees, I’m proud to congratulate her on 25 years of service.”

A mother of two grown sons, Catherine lives in the Town of Newburgh.

“Being a part of the growth and development of Finkelstein & Partners has been a great experience,” said Grad. “It’s been exciting to see the firm go from a small local firm to one of the State’s largest personal injury firms utilizing state-of-the art technology to serve our clients.”
