Our Marketing Agency’s Web Designs Help Government Agencies Boost Visibility and Spread Messaging
The Orange County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) plays an integral role in economic development initiatives in terms of business attraction and retention. Despite its positive impact on the county, the agency’s activities that provide targeted incentives to promote business growth, the creation of new jobs that result in bolstering the Orange County economy, and reducing the tax burden on county residents, were hardly noticed by the general public and the local press. We helped change that with our branding, marketing, public relations, and web design services.
New Brand and Tone for Marketing Initiatives
We worked closely with the IDA staff and its Board of Directors to create a striking new brand and a tone for the entire agency. The work included the design of an impressive new logo that helped give the IDA a new and unique identity. The IDA at times jointly markets its services with the Orange County Partnership, the lead economic development agency in the county. The IDA charged AJ Ross with designing its IDA specific marketing material in a certain fashion, while also designing collateral marketing material written and designed in conjunction with the Orange County Partnership, to retain the IDA’s new image and brand as well. We used different paper stock than the Partnership, as well as other means to make sure the IDA’s image was easily identifiable. The collateral marketing pieces included a very large trifold and a pocket folder with insert sheets that can be modified in the future along with distinctive new business cards.
A New Website Design Boosts Visibility of Agency Services
As part of the rebranding, we also created a new modern website that highlights news about the agency and its projects, which can easily be updated by IDA staff. In addition, the general public and interested businesses are able to quickly and easily access public information regarding incentive programs, applications for assistance, details of prior meetings, public records, calendar of events, etc. The website prominently features the mission of the Orange County Industrial Development Agency on the home page through. Rotating graphics. The website also includes an interactive map that provides details of key transportation services in the county, including major highways, rail transportation and airports.
Getting the Word Out Through Public Relations
We also provided public relations services, and in some cases crisis management assistance, that resulted in extensive positive media coverage in local newspapers and business trade magazines. To help enhance the IDA’s image our agency steered another client, a major retail developer, to hold a major press conference at the IDA offices.
The new logo, branding, advertising, web design, and public relations campaigns spearheaded by our agency significantly enhanced the Orange County’s IDA image by creating a new unique message in all of their communication and marketing materials. The agency’s activities are now the subject of considerable media and public attention thanks to the efforts of AJ Ross Creative Media.
“Working with the AJ Ross team has been a wonderful experience. AJ Ross Creative Media has guided me through the development of a corporate identity, taking the time to really understand and accurately represent our Agency. The team has been not only helpful, but instructional in the new products they’ve created, from the logo to a brand new website and marketing materials. While there is no denying the caliber of the work – the beauty of the logo, the functionality of the website – what is even more impressive is how attentive they have been to me, and my Agency, as a client; they are constantly checking in to stay up to date with the Agency’s needs, but also to let us know that they’re available if and when we need them. Because of the excellent service, support and product that we’ve received, we look forward to a long and satisfying relationship with AJ Ross Creative Media.”
